Yahoo Music Unlimited Now Being Managed By Rhapsody

The Yahoo Corporate blog today announced that Rhapsody will be managing Yahoo's Music Unlimited. Ian Rogers, Yahoo Music's general manager, said it wasn't an easy decision "We’re huge fans of Yahoo! Music Unlimited and those customers include many of our most loyal and valuable. We wanted to be sure those users had the best on-demand music experience available on the Internet."
So starting soon Rhapsody will be Yahoo's exclusive partner for On-Demand music. Ian Rogers also ensured that this decision in no way says anything about Yahoo backing away from its stance in the online music market. " It is a major strategy shift but we’re still investing in our music business."
The blog also announced its acquisition of FoxyTunes.
